The Government Co-contribution means that if your total income is below $60,342 pa then you will qualify for a Government Co-contribution on personal contributions (after-tax) that you make to your superannuation account.
If your income is below $30,342 pa then you will qualify for the maximum benefit - that is, if you pay in $1,000 pa (that's less than $20 pw over the full year) you will receive $1,500 from the Government for nothing. For more information about eligibility, please click here.
