Making Payments

 

Contributing for your staff should be as easy as possible – and all we ask is that you supply us with the data we need to allocate the funds accurately and efficiently. For file requirements click here (PDF - 32kb)

Information we must have in order  to do this includes: full name, gender, date of birth, tax file number, address and the breakdown of their contributions (Super Guarantee / personal after-tax contributions / salary sacrifice).

We accept payments in a number of ways:
1. Self-initiated direct debit* – you control the amount and date of the transaction – it’s not automatic
2. BPAY* – we can supply the AMIST Super Biller Code and your unique Reference Number
3. Cheque – made payable to ‘AMIST Super’

* To make a payment this way, we’ll need you to sign up as an AMIST Registered Employer so we can give you your unique Employer Code. It’s easy – just complete the form

We accept member information in a number of ways:

1. Using Employer Online – where you can either upload a file straight from your payroll system or manually enter the data
2. Email us a spreadsheet – usually this is an excel spreadsheet (please contact us for details so we can help)
3. Post us a spreadsheet

Of course, if you send in a paper-copy of the breakdown of staff contributions – we will then have to manually enter it. And this is where delays and problems can occur – apart from double-handling the information; errors can occur if we lack the information we need to match the payment with the member. We will then need to contact you to ‘fill in the blanks’. The entire amount cannot be fully processed until we know to the cent which member should receive which amount and what type of payment it is (Super Guarantee / personal contribution / salary sacrifice).

 

Online is Easy

 

You can sign up for Employer Access which makes making payments very easy allowing you to upload a file from your payroll system (please contact us for assistance) or simply manually enter your employees contribution amounts and then just update the amounts each month when you make a payment. It’s very simple and we’re here to help.

You can then send the contribution remittance in via self-initiated direct debit, BPay or cheque.
